L’abitazione si trova in un contesto ad alta densità residenziale nella Pedemontana a nord di Vicenza.

Lo studio è stato contatto per completare i lavori di ampliamento di un edificio esistente.

La situazione del cantiere era di murature al grezzo privo di qualsiasi finitura.

Dopo un’ attento studio e confronto con la committenza si è optato per “staccare” il nuovo volume dall’abitazione esistente. All’interno del volume trova posto un’ampia zona giorno e la scala di collegamento “a vista” con il piano interrato.

Tutta la zona living è caratterizzata da ampie vetrate che conferiscono al nuovo volume un aspetto minimale. L’ampliamento prevede anche un piano primo dove è stata realizzata una nuova “suite” matrimoniale. 

La casa è caratterizzata da ampie vetrate che mettono in connessione l’ampio giardino con l’interno, e da un rivestimento in lastre di fibrocemento di tipo a parete ventilata di colorazione bianca. Un altro elemento che identifica il progetto è lo sporto realizzato da staffe in ferro con sovrastanti lastre in vetro. All’interno molti dettagli sono stati realizzati su disegno dello studio.

The house is located in a high density residential context in the Pedemontana north of Vicenza.​

The study was contacted to complete the works of expansion of an existing building.

The situation of the yard was of unfinished masonry without any finishing.​

After careful study and comparison with the client, it was decided to "separate" the new volume from the existing house. Inside the volume there is a large living area and the "exposed" staircase which connect the basement.​

The whole living area is characterized by large windows that give to the new volume a minimal look. The extension also includes a first floor where a new "suite" has been built. 

The house is characterized by large windows that connect the large garden with the interior, and by a cladding of fibrocement slabs of ventilated wall type of white color. Another element that identifies the project is the housing made of iron brackets with glass overlays.  Inside many details were made to the studio’s design.
